"Look at this," said Mom as she opened the mail. "You've got an invitation to appear in court. Help me read this. It says Mr. Nani Haim Tibi you are subpoenaed to appear at The Court of Peace on 9 am., Monday, January 5th. "What is it all about?" I asked. "It's probably about the accident you witnessed." "What accident?" "Last year. The one with the boy and the bulldozer. The one you saved. The one you kept on talking about for six months." "I did not," I responded defensively. “It wasn't my fault that everybody kept asking me about it.” "Anyway, you have to go to court, and probably you'll have to tell the story again, and I'm sure you're going to like it."
