Thanks for reading my book. I decided to dedicate this book to my late childhood best friend Itai Gamil who at the age of seven was was killed together with his younger brother. May their memory be a blessing. I hope you liked it as much as I liked telling the stories. Most of the names belong to real people but I kept many of the last names to myself. Feel free to comment or request a change. My plan is eventually to publish this as a book. I am not sure yet if I will use pictures or to keep the recipes for another book. I know I will be retesting the recipes and adding pictures to the blog for them. As time goes by. Chapter 108, (Rated R) Really? More Girls?

“Hey, Tibi, I need you at the pool.” It was the manager of the hotel where I worked last summer. He called right on time; the company was on a summer break. Being a lifeguard in Israel pays pretty well, so that was an offer I couldn’t refuse. The crew in the hotel was changed and I didn’t see any of my old friends or the not so friendly people. Chapter 20, Nono Victor’s Disappointment

It wasn't easy to get Meme Julie to tell us stories. She was always busy preparing food or cleaning the house. But when she came to visit, which was very rare, we were able to get her to tell us some. We were always curious about our history, where Meme came from. What did they do in Tunisia and all kind of stuff. “Israel has been and still is a wonderful country. It is the only real democracy in the middle east. It has people from around the world and everyone is equal. But some people equal more.” Meme July started her story. “I never wanted to come to Israel. We had a good life in Tunis. Working to expand his creative range Tibi also developed exceptional skills in film & video editing. He designed and built several editing suites, among them, the first "Russian Television Network" (RTN) in the USA. Tibi has edited numerous award-winning films including The EMMY award-winning public service announcement “It's Up to YOU” in 1995. Tibi has created, installed and operated multimedia presentations developed for corporations, schools and non-profit organizations. Today Tibi manages “Studio Tibi”, the Multi-Media Production business in Trumbull, CT. Tibi continues to teach dance and Israeli music to children at local schools in Fairfield County, CT and in his free time you may find him dancing around the world.
